This morning we were standing in the middle of shop looking at each other, and our outfits, and we thought "how basic and boring" do we look? There was black EVERYWHERE. Now we're not dissing black, we love it, it's timeless and slimming but we thought enough is enough!
This spurred a rearrange, mannequin changes and of course - new outfits or accessories for all! This post is the result of the mayhem - how to colour your winter by brightening your basics.
Firstly grab your favourite basic, whether it be our Alessi Soft Black Draped Tee or your own. Pair it with a pant, we love our Ponte Pant (see our post - "Ponte is Your Friend"), add a scarf, bright accessory and fun bag!
As we mentioned in our previous post, ponte pants are not jeans - ensure your "important parts are covered...for us it's our lumps and bumps.
It's up to you what colours you work with whether you love warm or cool colours. The easiest thing to remember is use a consistent base colour - below we worked with pink and orange as our base colours!
