We’ve all heard about them doing the rounds in fashion for the past few years. But what exactly are Boyfriend Jeans?

As the name would suggest, it’s a fit of jean that might look like you raided your man’s wardrobe, so it’s typically a looser, sometimes slouchy, fit with a very relaxed and often distressed look to it. 

This doesn’t mean, however, that all boyfriend jeans are extra baggy.

The Boyfriend Jean of 2016 is more slimming and tapered than in previous years, but still has the same relaxed and looser look than a skinny jean.
