Offspring is back in 2016! And with the return of the show, comes the return of our girl, Nina Proudman, and her sought after style.
It’s no secret that, aside from the talented actors, captivating story lines, and gorgeous eye candy, one of the big reasons we keep coming back for more has got to be Nina’s wardrobe.
Her signature style has always been casual, comfortable and boho inspired. She adds accessories like scarves and layered necklaces and is often wearing tan knee high boots and cross body bags.
Her staple pieces in past seasons have been skinny jeans, kimonos, denim jackets and maxis which has got us wondering what 2016 Nina will be wearing.
We don’t know when season 6 is hitting our screens, but in anticipation we’ve thought hard about how Nina might wear her staple pieces in 2016. Here’s what we’ve come up with…
Kimonos – wear a kimono with skinny jeans or over a sleeveless knit in the cooler weather.
Boots and Scarves - Lately it’s been all about the ankle boot so we can see Nina swapping her signature knee high’s for a shorter style this year. Wrap a colourful scarf loosely around your neck for instant Nina appeal. You can even layer a long line necklace under your scarf like she does to really amp up the boho look.
Denim – Whether it’s a pair of skinny jeans or a jacket, our girl loves to wear denim. This year we can see Nina adding a denim skirt to her collection too.
Boho Basics – Any comfy and casual boho wardrobe has to have a white cotton shirt. Wear under a Nina inspired kimono or with a cross body bag and denim jacket.
