The Sneaker Trend

Tuesday 17 May 2016

Us  women are always on the hunt for comfy outfits that get us from morning to night as we run errands, drop kids at school, and have coffee with friends (not to mention everything else on our to do list), all whilst looking and feeling amazing, right?

So, it’s always a “Hallelujah” moment when fashion trends and comfort meet!
Enter… the sneaker trend!

Sneakers are the breakfast oats of our wardrobe. They may not be seen as the most exciting choice, but we know they’re going to satisfy our needs and get us from A to B. They’re a MUST HAVE, and ladies, we’re here to tell you that they’re not the boring, unappealing wardrobe pieces you may have once thought they were.

We’ve put together 8 stylish ways to wear sneakers, look amazing, and still run around getting it all done!

1.    Keep it winter chic from head to toe in shades of black and charcoal with a pair of black sneakers.

 2.    Pair distressed boyfriend jeans with canvas sneakers and a striped top for a casual weekend look.

3.    When all you want is to stay in your PJ’s, slip on a pair of slouch pants, a loose fitting top and sneakers for the ultimate in comfy wear. Keeping the colours monochrome will make it look chic and put together.

4.    To jazz up your slouch pant and sneaker look, add a fitted jacket and choose a pant or top with a subtle pattern.

 5.    If you’re not a fan of the slouch pant but still want to be super comfy, swap it for some ponte pants and add a cape.

6.    Wear your button down shirt and midi skirt with sneakers for a casual meets corporate vibe.

7.    Transition your summer and spring dresses into the cooler months by adding sneakers and a jacket.

8.    Change up the classic “sneakers, jeans and t-shirt” look by wearing a button down shirt instead for a more refined look.
