Episode 4- Nina Watch

Wednesday 20 July 2016

Oh Neens, just when you think one drama is done, suddenly another pops up to take its place! I can’t help but feel a bit sorry for the accused pants man despite thinking he’s not right for Nina, and how funny was watching that fake baby be punted on loop!

And might I add that we are devastated at how little we got to see of that second outfit! Catching a glimpse of beautiful red and black embroidery when I knew the clock was ticking down was almost too much to bear. For what we did get to see though, we are so grateful and we’ve done our round up of our DIY Nina Proudman looks:

1. Bad Day Brown
It wasn’t a completely terrible day for Nina but if you have to have an awkward talk, why not do it in brown! For a colour that normally falls flat, it looks tailored and sophisticated in a loose boho print top and structured pants. Gold and green drop earrings are a beautiful contrast as is that classic coat. No scarf unfortunately but we do get a glimpse of a large and gorgeous seahorse pendant necklace!

We’ve put this look together with our Tuscan Kimono Print Top, Khaki Corin Jacket, Danny Drop Crotch Pants, Leather Moon Necklace and Brandy Pinhole Boots.

2.Trouble Brewing
It may just be a glimpse but I am gushing over that blouse! Such gorgeous detail that looks perfect up against delicate gold accessories. And despite still being in keeping with a rustic/holiday aesthetic, I think it feels like a more refined version of Nina’s classic style.

We’ve put this look together with our Black Lace Suri Shirt, Natural Alia Pocket Tee, Indigo Skyscraper Jeans, Gold Curved Bar Necklace, Gold Polished Disk Earrings and Tan Joy Crossover Bag.
